As a family-owned and operated business, we specialize in refinishing/reglazing existing kitchen cabinets, counters, bathtubs, tile walls, shower stalls, vanities, and more. Customers can choose any color they want. We take pride in providing excellent service. Artistic Refinishing, Inc has been operating since 1994 and has remained at the same location, with the same phone number and owners. What have been your biggest challenge(s) so far?
Despite the economy having its ups and downs, we feel fortunate to have maintained consistency in our business. Our biggest challenge is to keep our prices as competitive as possible while maintaining the same high-quality product. We have managed to keep the same product that we have been using since 1994, even though the prices for our materials have more than doubled. To keep our prices competitive, we have found other vendors for products such as tape, paper, plastic, gloves, and more. This has enabled us to reduce costs while maintaining the same quality of our product.
What you’re proud of / what sets you apart / what gives you gratitude?
We are deeply appreciative of having the same technicians for over a decade. They are exceptional individuals who take great pride in their work, and their professionalism and dependability are unquestionable. Over the years, we have maintained strong relationships with a number of clients, including realtors, hotels, and repeat customers who have moved to new homes. The fact that we receive so many referrals is a testament to our clients' satisfaction, and we are extremely proud of that. Though the city’s reputation as a snowbird haven precedes it, with so many new residents, its median age today is just 48 years old. Newcomers are changing Boca’s demography — and its corporate landscape, too.
Much of the city’s growth is recent, and rapid. Its population, now approaching 100,000, grew nearly three times as fast as the population of the United States during the past two years, and has drawn a disproportionately high concentration of younger residents. In 2022 alone, the City Council approved six major 100,000-square-foot projects in the CRA.
What do you think is most unique about the city/population of Boca Raton and working with this community?
Boca Raton has become an attractive destination for many people, including vacationers, second-home owners, and snowbirds. However, its appeal has grown even more with the arrival of corporations that have established their headquarters in the city. This has not only brought in more families but also contributed to the city's economic development.
Although Boca Raton has long been known as a snowbird haven, the influx of new and younger residents has resulted in a more diverse demographic mix. This has also brought about changes in the corporate landscape, providing more opportunities for people to work and grow professionally.
The city has experienced rapid growth in recent years, with its population approaching 100,000. This growth has been driven by the high concentration of younger residents who have chosen to make Boca Raton their home. In recognition of this growth, the City Council has approved several projects aimed at expanding the city's business district and creating more job opportunities for its residents.
