Hello, readers! My name is Paul Anthony Jr. I am a Grammy-nominated recording artist, songwriter, and performer born and raised in Boca Raton. My journey in music began at age 12, writing and recording original music and performing in local talent shows and festivals. I have been DJing weddings and parties since 2009 and formed my band Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs in 2014. In 2020, I received recognition for my work as a featured artist and songwriter on Bob Marley’s former band, The Wailers’, Grammy Nominated album “One World.”
I was fortunate to have inherited not just musical ability but also guidance from my father, Paul Anthony, who himself is an accomplished entertainer. Today, my father and I are proud co-owners of Paul Anthony Entertainment, a venture that embodies our shared love for music and entertainment. Together, we strive to create unforgettable experiences and bring joy to audiences here in Boca and beyond.

What have been your biggest challenge(s) so far?
One of our biggest challenges is striking the right balance between creativity and business acumen. While we pour our hearts into creating music and performances, we also need to ensure the business side runs smoothly. Additionally, maintaining an active presence on social media across various platforms and profiles presents its own challenges. Often, we're so immersed in the moment of creating or performing that we're unable to share those experiences online. Our main focus is connecting with our audience in real-time, as these special moments can't be re-created. Being present and engaged in the now is crucial for delivering authentic, heartfelt experiences for our fans and clients.
What you’re proud of / what sets you apart / what gives you gratitude?
I take immense pride in the musical legacy that my father and I have built. Since 1988 my dad has been laying a solid foundation for our business to flourish here in Boca. As a result, the name Paul Anthony is recognized by many as synonymous with quality Entertainment. It's been truly rewarding for me to be able to join him, adding my own expertise and talents to the roster of what we're able to offer our clients.
What sets us apart is the unique blend of family bonds and professional excellence that defines Paul Anthony Entertainment. As a father-son duo, we bring a level of trust, understanding, and cohesion to our work that is unmatched. We pride ourselves not only on the quality of our music and performances but also on the personal touch we bring to every interaction with our clients. Our family values guide us in prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of our clients above all else.
Every opportunity to share our passion with the world fills us with gratitude, knowing that our music has the power to inspire, uplift, and bring people together.
What do you think is most unique about the city/population of Boca Raton and working with this community?
What I find most unique about Boca Raton is its vibrant tapestry of cultures and the rich diversity it offers. Growing up in Boca, I was fortunate to be surrounded by a melting pot of backgrounds and perspectives, right on the street where I lived. This dynamic environment provided me with a unique upbringing, where I was constantly exposed to different traditions, languages, and customs. As a result, I developed into a well-rounded individual with a deep appreciation for diversity and a keen understanding of various cultural nuances.
Working with the community in Boca Raton has been a truly enriching experience. The inclusive nature of this city fosters collaboration and encourages individuals from all walks of life to come together in pursuit of common goals. Whether it's collaborating on music projects, working with clients at public and private events, or simply engaging in everyday interactions, the sense of unity and camaraderie is palpable. There's a shared understanding and respect for one another's backgrounds, which creates a supportive and nurturing environment for personal and professional growth.
